ORDINANCE NO. 030798

Authorizing a Utility Agreement with Kansas City Power and Light Company relating to utility relocation on the Prospect Bridge over Brush Creek and directing the City Clerk to file same.

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF KANSAS CITY:

Section 1. That the Director of Public Works is hereby authorized to enter into and execute, on behalf of Kansas City, a Utility Agreement with the Kansas City Power and Light Company relating to utility relocation on the Prospect Bridge over Brush Creek, Project No. 5439, all in Kansas City, Jackson County, Missouri. A copy of the agreement, in substantial form, is attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference.

Section 2. That upon the effective date of this ordinance, the City Clerk is hereby directed to cause the ordinance and the attached agreement to be recorded in the office of the Recorder of Deeds of Jackson County, Missouri at Kansas City, and a copy thereof to be sent to the Missouri Secretary of State pursuant to Section 70.300, RSMo 1994.
