ORDINANCE NO. 020189

 

Amending the General Development and Land Use Plan, Longview Lake, as amended, by changing the land use designation from agricultural uses to residential, low density uses for an approximately 6.22 acre tract of land generally located at the northeast corner of 139th Street and the prolongation of Horridge Road. (318-S-6)

 

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF KANSAS CITY:

 

Section A. That the General Development and Land Use Plan, Longview Lake, as amended, is hereby amended by changing the land use designation from agricultural uses to residential, low density uses for an approximately 6.22 acre tract of land generally located at the northeast corner of 139th Street and the prolongation of Horridge Road, and more specifically described as follows:

 

A tract of land in the Southwest Quarter of Section 23, Township 47, Range 32, Kansas City, Jackson County, Missouri, more particularly described as follows: Beginning at the southwest corner of said Southwest Quarter; thence North 02E36'17" East along the west line of said Southwest Quarter, a distance of 180.01 feet to a point on the City limits line of Kansas City and Lees Summit; thence South 88E05'56" East along said City limits line, a distance of 1505.03 feet to a point on the westerly line of Tract A, Monarch View 1st Plat, a subdivision in Lees Summit, Jackson County, Missouri; thence South 02E38'15" West, along said tract, a distance of 180.01 feet to a point on the south line of said Southwest Quarter; thence North 88E05'56" West along said south line, a distance of 1504.93 feet to the point of beginning. Containing 6.22 acres, more or less, except that portion in streets and roads.

 

all as shown outlined on a map marked General Development and Land Use Plan, Longview Lake, as amended, which is attached hereto and made a part hereof, and which is hereby adopted as a part of an amendment to the aforesaid plan and as an amendment to Section 80-206.

 

Section B. That the Council finds and declares that before taking any action on the proposed amendment hereinabove, all public notices and hearings required by the Zoning Ordinance have been given and had.
