ORDINANCE NO. 990112

 

Accepting various easements and deeds in Jackson, Clay and Platte Counties; releasing an easement in Jackson County; and directing the City Clerk to record the acceptance.

 

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF KANSAS CITY:

 

Section 1. That various easements and deeds in Kansas City, Jackson County, executed by the following persons, and which appear of record as the instrument numbers and respective books and pages as follows:

Section 5. That the legal descriptions for such properties listed in Sections 1, 2, 3 and 4 are set forth in Exhibit A, which is attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference.

 

Section 6. All that part of a 4.0 foot wide utility easement dedicated by the plat of Benton View, a subdivision of land in the northeast quarter of Section 27, Township 49, Range 33, in Kansas City, Jackson County, Missouri, across the rear 4.0 feet of Lots 243 through 257 and the rear 4.0 feet of Lots 288 through 302 said Benton View, be and the same is hereby released to its present owners, their heirs and assigns and the Director of Public Works, if so requested, is authorized to execute a quit claim deed to the present owners, their successors or assigns, as further evidence thereof.

Section 7. That upon the effective date of this ordinance, the City Clerk is hereby directed to cause this ordinance to be recorded in the offices of the Recorder of Deeds for Jackson County, Missouri, at Kansas City and Independence, for Clay County, Missouri, at Liberty, and for Platte County, Missouri, at Platte City.
