ORDINANCE NO. 031239

 

Authorizing a $6,318.00 contract contingency increase with Jenkins and Associates, Inc., for additional construction work in connection with the Municipal Auditorium Concourse Renovation project and authorizing the Director of Public Works to expend $6,318.00 for the contract contingency increase.

 

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF KANSAS CITY:

 

Section 1. That the Director of Public Works is hereby authorized to increase the contingency by $6,318.00 for Contract No. 010269 with Jenkins and Associates, Inc., for additional construction work in connection with the Municipal Auditorium Concourse Renovation project, which was heretofore approved by Ordinance No. 020052, passed February 10, 2002, which increases the total contract amount from $987,850.00 to $994,168.00.

 

Section 2. That the Director of Public Works is hereby authorized to expend the additional sum of $6,318.00 from funds heretofore appropriated to Account No. 04-210-089-7727-T for the aforesaid contract increase.

I hereby certify that there is a balance, otherwise unencumbered, to the credit of the appropriation to which the foregoing expenditure is to be charged, and a cash balance, otherwise unencumbered, in the treasury, to the credit of the fund from which payment is to be made, each sufficient to meet the obligation hereby incurred.
