ORDINANCE NO. [R-2012-00864]

Authorizing a $2,000,000.00 agreement with the Jackson County Sports Complex Authority to be used in connection with the Harry S. Truman Sports Complex.

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF KANSAS CITY:

Section 1. That the City Manager is authorized to execute a Cooperative Agreement, on behalf of the City, in the amount of $2,000,000.00 with the Jackson County Sports Complex Authority for the capital maintenance, repair and improvement of the Harry S. Truman Sports Complex from funds previously appropriated to Account No. 13-5370-672200-B. The agreement is approved, in substantial form, as that attached to this ordinance.

I hereby certify that there is a balance, otherwise unencumbered, to the credit of the appropriation to which the foregoing expenditure is to be charged, and a cash balance, otherwise unencumbered, in the treasury, to the credit of the fund from which payment is to be made, each sufficient to meet the obligation hereby incurred.
