Accepting various easements
and deeds in Jackson, Clay and Platte Counties; releasing easements in Jackson
County; and directing the City Clerk to record the acceptance.
BE IT ORDAINED BY
THE COUNCIL OF KANSAS CITY:
Section 1. That
various easements Kansas City, Jackson County, executed by the following
persons, and which appear of record as the instrument numbers and respective
books and pages as follows:

2. Temporary Easement from Barry North Center,

all recorded in the office of
the Recorder of Deeds for Platte County, Missouri, at Platte City, are hereby
accepted.
Section 4. That
the legal descriptions for such properties listed in Sections 1, 2, and 3 are
set forth in Exhibit A, which is attached hereto and incorporated herein by
reference.
Section 5. That
any easements established by Section 7 and Section 8 of Ordinance No. 14505,
passed April 10, 1951, as set forth in the decree under Suit No. 551625, filed
in the Circuit Court of Jackson County, Missouri, at Kansas City, as recorded
in book B-4455 at page 608 as Document No. B38329 that may affect lots 11
through 20, inclusive, of Aldine Place, lot 17, Book 1, Broadway Addition,
and that part of lot 10, Block 1, Lykins Place lying between both
subdivisions, all being of record in Kansas City, Jackson County, Missouri, be
and the same is hereby released to its present owners, their heirs and assigns,
and the Director of Public Works, if so requested, is authorized to execute a
quit claim deed to the present owners, their successors or assigns, as further
evidence thereof.
Section 6. That
the easement reserved to Kansas City for the license and right to locate,
construct and maintain, or authorize the location, construction and maintenance
of conduits, water, gas and sewer pipes, poles and wires, or any of them, over,
under, along and across said vacated 12th Street Terrace from the east line of
Washington Street to a point 325 feet east of said east line of Washington
Street, being all that part of said 12th Street Terrace formerly known as
Aldine Place, which was reserved in Ordinance No. 25021, passed April 21, 1960
and recorded in the Jackson County, Missouri records as Document No. B342947 in
book B5306 at page 549 be and the same is hereby released to its present
owners, their heirs and assigns, and the Director of Public Works, if so
requested, is authorized to execute a quit claim deed to the present owners,
their successors or assigns, as further evidence thereof.
Section 7. That
upon the effective date of this ordinance, the City Clerk is hereby directed to
cause this ordinance to be recorded in the office of the Recorder of Deeds for
Jackson County, Missouri, at Kansas City, for Clay County, Missouri, at
Liberty, and for Platte County, Missouri, at Platte City.
