ORDINANCE NO. 100339

Authorizing a contract not to exceed $470,000.00 with Corporate Care Occupational Medicine Network for Kansas City Fire Department employee physical examinations and physician services and the expenditure of previously appropriated funds in the amount of $470,000.00.

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF KANSAS CITY:

Section 1. That the Fire Chief is authorized to execute a contract for employee physical examinations and physician services with Corporate Care Occupational Medicine Network from funds previously appropriated in the Fire Sales Tax Fund, Account No 11-2300-232000-B. A copy of the contract is on file with the City Clerk.

Section 2. That this ordinance shall take effect at the later of ten days after passage or May 1, 2010.

I hereby certify that there is a balance, otherwise unencumbered, to the credit of the appropriation to which the foregoing expenditure is to be charged, and a cash balance, otherwise unencumbered, in the treasury, to the credit of the fund from which payment is to be made, each sufficient to meet the obligation hereby incurred.
