ORDINANCE NO. 050937

Authorizing a $2,000,000.00 agreement with the Jackson County Sports Complex Authority from the Convention and Tourism Fund to be used in connection with the Harry S. Truman Sports Complex.

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF KANSAS CITY:

Section 1. That the City Manager is authorized to execute a Cooperative Agreement, on behalf of the City, in the amount of $2,000,000.00 with the Jackson County Sports Complex Authority for the capital maintenance, repair and improvement of the Harry S. Truman Sports Complex from funds previously appropriated to Account No. 06-2360-672200-B. The Cooperative Agreement is approved, in substantial form. as that attached to this ordinance.

I hereby certify that there is a balance, otherwise unencumbered, to the credit of the appropriation to which the foregoing expenditure is to be charged, and a cash balance, otherwise unencumbered, in the treasury, to the credit of the fund from which payment is to be made, each sufficient to meet the obligation hereby incurred.
