ORDINANCE NO. 061064

 

Accepting special warranty deed for property acquired in fee simple as City owned, and devoting a certain portion as street right of way for Longview Road, in Jackson County, and directing the City Clerk to record this ordinance.

 

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF KANSAS CITY:

Section 1. That a special warranty deed in Kansas City, Jackson County, executed by Atlantic Holdings, LLC, Instrument No. 2006E0027031, recorded May 16, 2006, in Jackson County, Missouri, and which is attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference, recorded in the office of the Recorder of Deeds for Jackson County, Missouri, at Kansas City, is hereby accepted.

Section 2. That the City hereby devotes a certain portion of said property for public street purposes as part of the construction and maintenance of Longview Road as described below:

A tract of land in the Southeast Quarter of the Southeast Quarter of Section 2, Township 47, Range 33, in Kansas City, Jackson County, Missouri, being a part of the tract of land described in Quitclaim Deed, Book 2002k, Page 32980, recorded in the Recorder of Deeds Office of Jackson County, Missouri, being more particularly described as follows:

 

Commencing at the Southeast corner of the Southeast Quarter of said Section 2; thence N 865634 W, a distance of 174.80 feet, along the South line of said Southeast Quarter; thence N 031710 E, a distance of 25.00 feet, to a point on the existing North Right-of-Way line of Longview Road, as now established, said point also being the true point of beginning of the herein described tract; thence N 031710 E, a distance of 15.00 feet; thence N 701801 E, a distance of 69.10 feet; thence N 391919 E, a distance of 80.95 feet; thence S 865634 E, a distance of 13.51 feet, to a point on the existing West Right-of-Way line of Hickman Mills Drive, as now established; thence S 031534 W, a distance of 107.00 feet, along said West right-of-way line, to a point on the North Right-of-Way line of said Longview Road; thence N865634W, a distance of 124.80 feet, along said North Right-of-Way line, to the true point of beginning. Said tract containing 6,794 square feet more or less.

Section 3. That upon the effective date of this Ordinance, the City Clerk is hereby directed to cause this Ordinance to be recorded in the office of the Recorder of Deeds for Jackson County, Missouri, at Kansas City.
