COMMITTEE SUBSTITUTE FOR ORDINANCE NO. 010238

 

Amending the General Development and Land Use Plan, Kansas City International Airport, as amended, by changing the land use designation from general industry uses to regional business uses for an approximately 17.72 acre tract of land generally located west of N.W. Prairie View Road, south of the intersection of N. Congress Avenue and N.W. Prairie View Road, east of N. Congress Avenue and approximately 1,550 feet north of N.W. Tiffany Springs Road. (247-S-78)

 

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF KANSAS CITY:

 

Section A. That the General Development and Land Use Plan, Kansas City International Airport, as amended, is hereby amended by changing the land use designation from general industry uses to regional business uses for an approximately 17.72 acre tract of land generally located west of N.W. Prairie View Road, south of the intersection of N. Congress Avenue and N.W. Prairie View Road, east of N. Congress Avenue and approximately 1,550 feet north of N.W. Tiffany Springs Road, and more specifically described as follows:

 

All that part of the Southeast Quarter of Section 36, Township 52, Range 34, Kansas City, Platte County, Missouri, all of Lots 4 and 5, Swarts Industrial Park, a subdivision of land in Kansas City, Platte County, Missouri, and all that part of Lots 4, 5 and 6, Sarah Glass Place, a subdivision of land in Kansas City, Platte County, Missouri, all being described as follows: Beginning at the southwest corner of Lot 4, said Swarts Industrial Park; thence North 00E32'22" East, along the west line of said Lot 4, a distance of 261.08 feet (plat 261.06 feet); thence North 89E27'38" West, a distance of 40.00 feet to a point on the west line of said Southeast Quarter; thence North 00E32'22" East, along said west line, a distance of 563.72 feet (deed 561.81 feet); thence North 89E56'10" East, a distance of 153.99 feet (deed 155.84 feet) to a point on the westerly right of way line of Interstate Route 29, as now established, said point being 160.00 feet westerly of said Highway Median Centerline Station 590+15.00; thence South 35E47'40" East, along said westerly right of way line, a distance of 100.60 feet (deed 98.19 feet) to a point 149.00 feet westerly of said Highway Median Centerline Station 591+15.00; thence South 29E31'02" East, along said westerly right of way line, a distance of 300.00 feet to a point 149.00 feet westerly of said Highway Median Centerline Station 594+15.00; thence South 60E28'58" West, along said westerly right of way line, a distance of 30.00 feet to a point 179.00 feet westerly of said Highway Median Centerline Station 594+15.00; thence South 29E31'02" East, along said westerly right of way line, a distance of 535.60 feet to a point on the south line of the Southeast Quarter of said Section 36; thence North 89E49'11" East, along said westerly right of way line, a distance of 34.41 feet; thence South 29E31'02" East, along said westerly right of way line, a distance of 676.55 feet; thence South 60E28'58" West, along said westerly right of way line, a distance of 30.00 feet; thence South 29E31'02" East, along said westerly right of way line, a distance of 151.90 feet; thence south 89E58'47" West, a distance of 457.44 feet; thence South 00E01'13" East, a distance of 79.34 feet; thence South 89E58'47" West, a distance of 196.60 feet; thence North 00E26'15" East, a distance


of 79.34 feet; thence South 89E58'47" West, a distance of 400.61 feet to a point on the west line of Lot 4, said Sarah Glass Place; thence North 00E26'15" East, along the west line of said Lot 4, a distance of 216.49 feet; thence South 89E33'45" East, a distance of 185.37 feet; thence North 00E01'13" West, a distance of 85.00 feet to a point on the south line of Lot 1, said Swarts Industrial Park; thence North 89E58'47" East, along said south line, a distance of 215.91 feet; thence North 00E26'15" East, along the east line of Lots 1, 2 and 3, said Swarts Industrial Park, a distance of 435.10 feet to the northeast corner of said Lot 3; thence South 89E49'11" West, along the south line of said Lot 4, said Swarts Industrial Park, a distance of 334.87 feet (deed 334.91 feet) to the point of beginning. Containing 17.72 acres, more or less.

 

all as shown outlined on a map marked General Development and Land Use Plan, Kansas City International Airport, as amended, which is attached hereto and made a part hereof, and which is hereby adopted as a part of an amendment to the aforesaid plan and as an amendment to Section 80-206.

 

Section B. That the Council finds and declares that before taking any action on the proposed amendment hereinabove, all public notices and hearings required by the Zoning Ordinance have been given and had.
