Accepting an amendment to the
U.S. Department of Energy, Weatherization Assistance Program, American Recovery
and Reinvestment Act (ARRA) grant through the Missouri Department of Natural
Resources, Division of Energy, to increase funding in the amount of $4,250,928.00;
increasing revenue in the amount of $4,250,928.00; increasing appropriations in
the amount of $4,250,928.00; and designating requisitioning authority.
BE IT ORDAINED
BY THE COUNCIL OF KANSAS CITY:
Section 1. That
the City hereby accepts an amendment to the U.S. Department of Energy,
Weatherization Assistance Program, American Recovery and Reinvestment Act
(ARRA) grant through the Missouri Department of Natural Resources, Division of
Energy, to increase funding in the amount of $4,250,928.00.
Section 2. That
the revenue in the following account of the ARRA Stimulus Fund is estimated in
the following amount:
11-2530-550001-479979-G55 DNRST
Home Weatherization
Grant $4,250,928.00
Section 3. That
$4,250,928.00 is appropriated from the Unappropriated Fund Balance of the ARRA
Stimulus Fund (No. 2530) to the following accounts of the ARRA Stimulus Fund
(No. 2530):
11-2530-555210-A-G55DNRST Home
Weatherization grant $ 300,000.00
11-2530-555210-B-G55DNRST Home
Weatherization grant 3,885,928.00
11-2530-555210-C-G55DNRST Home
Weatherization grant 65,000.00
TOTAL
$4,250,928.00
Section 4. That
the Director of Housing and Community Development is designated as
requisitioning authority for Account No. 11-2530-555210.
