and Platte Counties and releasing various easements in Jackson County.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF KANSAS CITY:
Section 1. That various easements and deeds in
Kansas City, Jackson County, executed by the following persons, and which

Section 5. That the legal descriptions for such
properties listed in Sections 1 through 4 are set forth in Exhibit
"A", which is attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference.
Section 6. That all that part of the sewer easement
previously accepted by Ordinance No. 53471, passed November 12, 1981, and
recorded in the office of the Recorder of Deeds for Jackson County, Missouri,
at Kansas City, as Document No. K500904 in book K1102 at page 1022, described
as follows: All that part of an easement which lies in a parcel of land
described as beginning at a point on the north line of the southwest quarter of
the northwest quarter of Section 25, Township 48 north, Range 33 west, in
Kansas City, Jackson County, Missouri, a distance of 661.42 feet westerly of
the northeast corner thereof, thence westerly 330.64 feet along the north line
of said quarter quarter section; thence south 660.79 feet; thence east 330.71
feet; thence north 660.75 feet to point of beginning, except part in 93rd
Street. Aforesaid easement lying five feet on each side of a centerline
described as follows: Beginning at the southwest corner of said parcel of land;
thence northerly a distance of 375.42 feet, as measured along the west line of
said parcel; thence easterly along a straight line which deflects 89 degrees 59
minutes 40 seconds to the right of the last described line a distance of 182.6
feet, be and the same is hereby released to its present owners, their heirs and
assigns and the Director if Public Works, if so requested, is authorized to
execute a quit-claim deed to the present owners, their successors or assigns,
as further evidence thereof.
Section 7. All that part of a 15 foot wide sewer
easement recorded in the office of the Recorder of Deeds for Jackson County,
Missouri, at Kansas City, as Document No. B207725 in book B7017 at page 39, the
centerline of which is described as follows: Beginning at a point on the east
line of the west 20.06 acres of the north half of the southwest quarter of
Section 24, Township 48, Range 33 in Kansas City, Jackson County, Missouri,
said point being 940.24 feet south of the north line thereof; thence south 50
degrees 54 minutes 00 seconds west, 493.13 feet to the point of termination, be
and the same is hereby released to its present owners, their heirs and assigns
and the Director of Public Works, if so requested, is authorized to execute a
quit-claim deed to the present owners, their successors or assigns, as further
evidence thereof.
Section 8. All that part of the utility easement
previously retained by Kansas City Vacation Ordinance No. 51267, passed October
20, 1925, across Lots 2 and 3, Plaza Steppes, a subdivision of land now in
Kansas City, Jackson County, Missouri, more particularly described as follows:
Beginning at the southwest corner of said Lot 2; thence northerly, along the
west line of said Lot 2, a distance of 7.51 feet, to a point 40 feet north of
the south line of the northeast quarter of Section 30, Township 49, Range 33 as
now established; thence easterly, along a line 40 feet north of and parallel to
the south line of the northeast quarter of Section 30, Township 49, Range 33, a
distance of 154.52 feet, to a point on the south line of said Lot 3; thence
westerly, along the south line of said Lot 3, and along the south line of said
Lot 2, a distance of 154.70 feet, to the point of beginning, be and the same is
hereby released to its present owners, their heirs and assigns and the Director
of Public Works, if so requested, is authorized to execute a quit-claim deed to
the present owners, their successors or assigns, as further evidence thereof.
Section 9. That upon the effective date of this
ordinance, the City Clerk is hereby directed to cause this ordinance to be
recorded in the offices of the Recorder of Deeds for Jackson County, Missouri,
at Kansas City and Independence, for Clay County, Missouri, at Liberty, and for
Platte County, Missouri, at Platte City, respectively.
