COMMITTEE SUBSTITUTE FOR ORDINANCE NO. 990064
Reducing
the appropriation in various accounts by a total of $430,000.00; appropriating
it to various accounts for the 18th & Vine project; authorizing the 20th
amendment to the management agreement with the 18th and Vine Authority in the
amount of $430,000.00.
BE
IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF KANSAS CITY:
Section
1. That the appropriation in the following account of the General Fund is
reduced in the following amount:
99-100-070-7320 Black
Archives - Park Maintenance Building $295,544.00
Section
2. That the appropriation in the following account of the Capital Improvements
Fund is reduced in the following amount:
99-309-089-7513 Little
Blue Road $134,456.00
Section
3. That the sum of $134,456.00 is appropriated from the Unappropriated Fund
Balance of the Capital Improvements Fund to the following account of that fund:
99-309-064-7302-T 18th
& Vine-Jazz Hall of Fame $134,456.00
Section
4. That the sum of $295,544.00 is appropriated from the Unappropriated Fund
Balance of the General Fund to the following account of that fund:
99-100-064-2060-B 18th
& Vine Authority $295,544.00
Section
5. That the Director of City Development is authorized to execute the
twentieth amendment to the management agreement with the 18th and Vine
Authority project for the 18th and Vine project in the amount of $430,000.00
from funds appropriated in this ordinance. The amendment is approved in
substantial form as the amendment attached to the original of this ordinance.

hereby certify that there is a balance, otherwise unencumbered, to the credit
of the appropriation to which the foregoing expenditure is to be charged, and a
cash balance, otherwise unencumbered, in the treasury, to the credit of the
fund from which payment is to be made, each sufficient to meet the obligation
hereby incurred.
