ORDINANCE NO. 010127
Amending
Chapter 80, Code of Ordinances, by adding a new section to be known as Section 80-11A0341,
rezoning an area of approximately 39.7 acres generally located on the north
side of N.E. 72nd Street, east of the easterly Gladstone city limits from
District RA (Agricultural) to District R-2b (Two-Family Dwellings). (12520-P)

IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF KANSAS CITY:
Section
A. That Chapter 80, Code of Ordinances of the City of Kansas City, Missouri,
1996, commonly known as the Zoning Ordinance, is hereby amended by enacting a
new section to be known as Section 80-11A0341, rezoning an area of
approximately 39.7 acres generally located on the north side of N.E. 72nd
Street, east of the easterly Gladstone city limits from District RA
(Agricultural) to District R-2b (Two-Family Dwellings), said section to read as
follows:

All that part of the Southwest Quarter of
Section 17, Township 51, Range 32, Kansas City, Clay County, Missouri, lying
north of N.E. 72nd Street and south of the centerline of Shoal Creek, being
bounded and described as follows: Beginning at the southwest corner of said
Southwest Quarter; thence North 0E44'01"
East (deed - North 0E42'47" East), along
the west line of said Southwest Quarter, 1033.28 feet to a point 1603.86 feet
south of the northwest corner of said Southwest Quarter, said point being on
the centerline of said Shoal Creek; thence South 63E05'28" East (deed - South 67E54'32" East), along said centerline,
373.49 feet (deed - 359.95 feet); thence North 80E11'14" East (deed - North 80E10'00" East), along said centerline,
140.00 feet; thence North 64E26'14"

point being the beginning of a property line agreement described in Book 809 at
page 360 of the office of the Recorder of Deeds in Clay County, Missouri;

north of the south line and 650.77 feet east of the west line of said Southwest

hereby rezoned from District RA (Agricultural) to District R-2b (Two-Family
Dwellings), all as shown outlined on a map marked Section 80-11A0341, which is
attached hereto and made a part hereof, and which is hereby adopted as a part
of an amendment to the zoning maps constituting a part of said chapter and as
an amendment to Section 80-11 thereof.
Section
B. That the Council finds and declares that before taking any action on the
proposed amendment hereinabove, all public notices have been given and hearings
have been held as required by the Zoning Ordinance.
