ORDINANCE NO. 060771

 

Approving the purchase of a NICELog Recording System to replace the outdated system currently in use to log and archive emergency telephone and radio traffic.

 

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF KANSAS CITY:

 

Section 1. Authorizing a contract with NICE Systems, Inc. in the amount of $312,353.00 to purchase a NICELog Recorder System and two-year warranty for use by the Citys public safety agencies to log and archive emergency telephone and radio traffic, from funds previously appropriated to the following account:

 

07-1000-897729-B-89000151 Police Fire Communications Center $312,353.00

I hereby certify that there is a balance, otherwise unencumbered, to the credit of the appropriation to which the foregoing expenditure is to be charged, and a cash balance, otherwise unencumbered, in the treasury, to the credit of the fund from which payment is to be made, each sufficient to meet the obligation hereby incurred.
