COMMITTEE SUBSTITUTE FOR ORDINANCE NO. 001502

 

Amending Chapter 80, Code of Ordinances, by adding a new section to be known as Section 80-11A0322, rezoning an area of approximately 8.72 acres generally located on the north side of N.W. 108th Street and approximately 950 feet west of Highway 169 (west of the proposed north/south collector) from District R-1b (One-Family Dwellings) to District R-4 (Low Apartments). BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF KANSAS CITY:

 

Section A. That Chapter 80, Code of Ordinances of the City of Kansas City, Missouri, 1996, commonly known as the Zoning Ordinance, is hereby amended by enacting a new section to be known as Section 80-11A0322, rezoning an area of approximately 8.72 acres generally located on the north side of N.W. 108th Street and approximately 950 feet west of Highway 169 (west of the proposed north/south collector) from District R-1b (One-Family Dwellings) to District R-4 (Low Apartments), said section to read as follows:

 

Section 80-11A0322. That an area legally described as:

 

A tract of land in the Northeast Quarter of Section 27, Township 52, Range 33, Kansas City, Clay County, Missouri, being bounded and described as follows: Commencing at the southwest corner of said Northeast Quarter; thence South 89E26'14" East, along the south line of said Northeast Quarter; 849.30 feet; thence North 00E33'46" East, 30.00 feet to the true point of beginning of the tract to be herein described; thence North 00E07'08" East, 301.40 feet; thence North 22E13'00" West, 259.27 feet; thence North 27E09'24" West, 210.73 feet; thence North 68E26'07" East, 495.42 feet; thence South 89E25'15" East, 118.28 feet; thence South 00E34'45" West, 913.56 feet to a point on the northerly right of way line of N.W. 108th Street, as now established; thence North 89E26'14" West, along said northerly line, 376.21 feet to the true point of beginning. Containing 8.72 acres, more or less.

 

is hereby rezoned from District R-1b (One-Family Dwellings) to District R-4 (Low Apartments), all as shown outlined on a map marked Section 80-11A0322, which is attached hereto and made a part hereof, and which is hereby adopted as a part of an amendment to the zoning maps constituting a part of said chapter and as an amendment to Section 80-11 thereof.

 

Section B. That the Council finds and declares that before taking any action on the proposed amendment hereinabove, all public notices and hearings required by the Zoning Ordinance have been given and had.
