ORDINANCE NO. 001421

 

Amending Chapter 80, Code of Ordinances, by adding a new section to be known as Section 80-11A0317, rezoning an area of approximately 198.22 acres generally located on the east side of N. Flintlock Road and on both sides of N.E. 90th Street (extended) from District RA (Agricultural) to District R-1a (One-Family Dwellings). (12434-P)

 

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF KANSAS CITY:

 

Section A. That Chapter 80, Code of Ordinances of the City of Kansas City, Missouri, 1996, commonly known as the Zoning Ordinance, is hereby amended by enacting a new section to be known as Section 80-11A0317, rezoning an area of approximately 198.22 acres generally located on the east side of N. Flintlock Road and on both sides of N.E. 90th Street (extended) from District RA (Agricultural) to District R-1a (One-Family Dwellings), said section to read as follows:

 

Section 80-11A0317. That an area legally described as:

 

A tract of land in the Northeast Quarter of Section 11, the Southeast Quarter and the Northeast Quarter of Section 2, all in Township 51, Range 32, Kansas City, Clay County, Missouri, being bounded and described as follows: Beginning at the southwest corner of the Southeast Quarter of said Section 2; thence North 00E26'54" East, along the west line of said Southeast Quarter, 2611.04 feet to the southwest corner of the Northeast Quarter of said Section 2; thence North 00E27'02" East, along the west line of said Northeast Quarter, 1338.04 feet; thence South 89E30'37" East, 2608.62 feet to a point on the east line of said Northeast Quarter; thence South 00E45'54" West, along said east line, 1335.96 feet to the northeast corner of the Southeast Quarter of said Section 2; thence South 00E40'10" West, along the east line of said Southeast Quarter, 820.42 feet; thence South 66E13'00" West, 380.36 feet; thence South 30E30'17" West, 389.91 feet; thence South 48E29'32" West, 454.82 feet; thence South 56E23'12" West, 394.95 feet; thence South 49E44'19" West, 413.10 feet; thence South 42E19'33" West, 454.49 feet; thence South 34E36'18" West, 197.92 feet; thence South 35E51'13" West, 199.68 feet; thence South 50E08'11" West, 326.81 feet; thence South 44E45'11" West, 372.54 feet; thence North 90E00'00" West, 37.79 feet to a point on the west line of said Northeast Quarter; thence North 00E26'45" East, along said west line, 640.73 feet to the point of beginning. Containing 198.22 acres, more or less, except that part in existing street right of way.

 

is hereby rezoned from District RA (Agricultural) to District R-1a (One-Family Dwellings), all as shown outlined on a map marked Section 80-11A0317, which is attached hereto and made a part hereof, and which is hereby adopted as a part of an amendment to the zoning maps constituting a part of said chapter and as an amendment to Section 80-11 thereof.

 


Section B. That the Council finds and declares that before taking any action on the proposed amendment hereinabove, all public notices and hearings required by the Zoning Ordinance have been given and had.
