ORDINANCE NO. 941328

Approving a $25,000.00 contract with the Kansas City Jazz Festival Committee, Inc. for the Kansas City Blues and Jazz Festival from the Neighborhood Tourist Development Fund (Fourth and City-wide Council Districts).

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF KANSAS CITY:

Section 1. That the Director of Neighborhood and Community Services is authorized to execute a $25,000.00 contract with the Kansas City Jazz Festival Committee, Inc. for the Kansas City Blues and Jazz Festival from funds previously appropriated to the following accounts in the Neighborhood Tourist Development Fund:

95-235-067-2140B Fourth $10,000.00 95-235-067-2100B City-wide 15,000.00 Total $25,000.00

which contract is hereby approved in substantial form as that on file in the Department of Neighborhood and Community Services.

I hereby certify that there is a balance, otherwise unencumbered, to the credit of the appropriation to which the foregoing expenditure is to be charged, and a cash balance, otherwise unencumbered, in the treasury, to the credit of the fund from which payment is to be made, each sufficient to meet the obligation hereby incurred.
