ORDINANCE NO. 970859

 

Accepting and approving an amendment to a contract with the Missouri Department of Health that decreases contract funding by $31,775.00 for the purpose of providing comprehensive family planning services.

 

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF KANSAS CITY:

 

Section 1. That an amendment to a contract between Kansas City, acting through its Director of Health, and the Missouri Department of Health, acting through its Director of Administration, whereby the State will decrease funding by $31,775.00 from $183,271.00 to $151,496.00, for the purpose of providing comprehensive family planning services, for the period of October 31, 1996 through June 30, 1997, is hereby accepted and approved. A copy of the amendment, in substantial form, is attached hereto and made a part hereof by reference.

I hereby certify that there is a balance, otherwise unencumbered, to the credit of the appropriation to which the foregoing expenditure is to be charged, and a cash balance, otherwise unencumbered, in the treasury, to the credit of the fund from which payment is to be made, each sufficient to meet the obligation hereby incurred.
