ORDINANCE NO. 120651

 

Authorizing the Director of Water Services Department to enter into a contract with Larkin Group, Inc. for Town Fork Creek Basin Integrated Plan for approximately $575,000.00; appropriating $575,000.00 from the Stormwater Fund to satisfy the cost of this contract; and authorizing the Director of Water Services to expend approximately $575,000.00.

 

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF KANSAS CITY:

Section 1. That the Director of Water Services Department is authorized to execute, on behalf of Kansas City, Contract No. 248, Project No. 82000172, in the amount not to exceed $575,000.00, with Larkin Group, Inc., to provide design professional services for the Town Fork Creek Basin Integrated Plan project. A copy of this contract is on file in the office of the Director of Water Services.

Section 2. That $575,000.00 is appropriated from the Unappropriated Fund Balance of the Stormwater Fund to the following account:

13-8200-802330-B-610300 Stormwater Services $575,000.00

Section 3. That the Director of Water Services is authorized to expend $575,000.00 from Account No. 13-8200-802330-B-610300 to satisfy the cost of this contract.

  I hereby certify that there is a balance, otherwise unencumbered, to the credit of the appropriation to which the foregoing expenditure is to be charged, and a cash balance, otherwise unencumbered, in the treasury, to the credit of the fund from which payment is to be made, each sufficient to meet the obligation hereby incurred.
