ORDINANCE NO. 970711
Amending Chapter 80, Code of Ordinances of the City of
Kansas City, Missouri, 1996, commonly known as the Zoning Ordinance, by adding
a new section to be known as Section 80-11A0064, rezoning an area of
approximately 3.04 acres generally located on the south side of N.E. Parvin
Road at N. Hardesty Avenue from District R-1b (One-Family Dwellings) to
District R-2b (Two-Family Dwellings). (11974-P)
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF KANSAS CITY:
Section A. That Chapter 80, Code of Ordinances of
the City of Kansas City, Missouri, 1996, commonly known as the Zoning
Ordinance, is hereby amended by enacting a new section to be known as Section
80-11A0064, rezoning an area of approximately 3.04 acres generally located on
the south side of N.E. Parvin Road at N. Hardesty Avenue from District R-1b
(One-Family Dwellings) to District R-2b (Two-Family Dwellings), said section to
read as follows:
Section 80-11A0064. That an area legally described
as:
A tract of land in the Southeast Quarter of Section
5, Township 50, Range 32, Kansas City, Clay County, Missouri, being
described as follows: Commencing at the southwest corner of said Southeast
Quarter; thence South 89 27'18" East, along the south line of said
Southeast Quarter, 1128.60 feet to the true point of beginning of the
tract to be herein described; thence North 4 07'18" West (Deed-North 4
40'00" West), 231.30 feet (Deed-231.92 feet) to a point on the
southerly right of way line of N.E. Parvin Road, as now established;
thence northeasterly, along said southerly right of way line, on a curve
to the left, having an initial tangent bearing of North 88 56'06"
East (Deed-North 88 58'45" East), a radius of 1195.92 feet, an arc
distance of 374.35 feet, (Deed-375.28 feet); thence North 71 00'00"
East, along said southerly right of way line, 133.66 feet (Deed-137.86
feet); thence South 0 10'05" East (Deed-South 0 42'47" West), 343.72
feet (Deed-376.09 feet) to a point on the south line of said Southeast
Quarter; thence North 89 27'18" West, along said south line, 477.91
feet (Deed-483.70 feet) to the true point of beginning. Containing 3.04 acres,
more or less. Except that part south being used for road right of way.
is hereby rezoned from District R-1b (One-Family
Dwellings) to District R-2b (Two-Family Dwellings), all as shown outlined on a
map marked Section 80-11A0064, which is attached hereto and made a part hereof,
and which is hereby adopted as a part of an amendment to the zoning maps
constituting a part of said chapter and as an amendment to Section 80-11
thereof.
Section B. That the Council finds and declares that
before taking any action on the proposed amendment hereinabove, all public
notices and hearings required by the Zoning Ordinance have been given and had.
