ORDINANCE NO. 900218

Authorizing a $37,047.00 contract with Industrial Wrecking Company for emergency demolition of a dangerous building formerly located at 126 West 5th Street.

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF KANSAS CITY:

Section 1. That the Director of Neighborhood and Community Services is hereby authorized to enter into a contract with Industrial Wrecking Company in an amount not to exceed $37,047.00 from funds previously herein appropriated to Activity Account No. 1-57710-B for emergency demolition of a dangerous building formerly located at 126 West 5th Street.

I hereby certify that there is a balance, otherwise unencumbered, to the credit of the appropriation to which the foregoing expenditure, is to be charged, and a cash balance, otherwise unencumbered, in the treasury to the credit of the fund from which payment is to be made, each sufficient to meet the obligation hereby incurred.
