ORDINANCE NO. 130679

 

Rezoning a 0.57 acre tract of land generally located on the north side of Independence Boulevard, between Olive Street and Park Avenue, to consider rezoning the tract of land from District R-2.5 to District B1-1. (14405-P)

 

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF KANSAS CITY:

 

Section A. That Chapter 88, Code of Ordinances of the City of Kansas City, Missouri, commonly known as the Zoning and Development Code, is hereby amended by enacting a new section to be known as Section 88-20A0937, rezoning an approximately 0.57 acre tract of land generally located on the north side of Independence Boulevard, between Olive Street and Park Avenue, from District R-2.5 (Residential dash 2.5) to District B1-1 (Neighborhood Business - 1), said section to read as follows:

 

Section 88-20A0937. That an area legally described as:

 

PARCEL 1 – 544/ 46 Olive Street, Kansas City, Missouri:

Marty’s Woodland Addition - Pt Lots 1 & 2, Block 1 DAF: Beginning southwest corner SD Lot 1; Thence North 163 feet; thence easterly 77.96 feet; thence South 5 feet; thence easterly 67.50 feet to west right-of-way line of Olive Street; thence South and along SD west line 46 feet; thence west 73.96 feet; thence South 119 feet to north right-of-way line of Independence Boulevard; thence westerly along SD north right-of-way 72 feet MOL to point of beginning.

 

PARCEL 2 - 2300 Independence Avenue, Kansas City, Missouri:

Marty’s Woodland Addition – South 119 feet of east 5.46 feet of Lot 1 and South 119 feet of Lot 2 (except point in Olive Street).

 

is hereby rezoned from District R-2.5 (Residential dash 2.5) to District B1-1 (Neighborhood Business - 1), all as shown outlined on a map marked Section 88-20A0937, which is attached hereto and made a part hereof, and which is hereby adopted as an amendment to the zoning maps constituting a part of said chapter and in accordance with Section 88-20 thereof.

 

Section B. That the Council finds and declares that before taking any action on the proposed amendment hereinabove, all public notices and hearings required by the Zoning Ordinance have been given and had.
