ORDINANCE NO. 040526

 

Amending Chapter 80, Code of Ordinances, by adding a new section to be known as Section 80-11A0560, rezoning an area of approximately 78.33 acres generally located in the southeast corner of the intersection of N.W. Tiffany Springs Road and N. Green Hills Road from District GP-6 (Low Density Residential Uses) to GP-7 (Agricultural and Low Density Residential Uses). (10633-GP-2)

 

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF KANSAS CITY:

 

Section A. That Chapter 80, Code of Ordinances of the City of Kansas City, Missouri, commonly known as the Zoning Ordinance, is hereby amended by enacting a new section to be known as Section 80-11A0560, rezoning an area of approximately 78.33 acres generally located in the southeast corner of the intersection of N.W. Tiffany Springs Road and N. Green Hills Road from District GP-6 (Low Density Residential Uses) to GP-7 (Agricultural and Low Density Residential Uses), said section to read as follows:

 

Section 80-11A0560. That an area legally described as:

 

A tract of land being part of the the Northeast 1/4 and the Southeast 1/4 of Section 5, Township 51 North, Range 33 West, Kansas City, Platte County, Missouri, described as follows: Beginning at the northwest corner of the Southeast 1/4 of said Section 5; thence South 00E24'30 West, along the west line of said Southeast 1/4, 59.37 feet (deed = South 00E24'19 West); thence South 44E50'00 East, 1821.18 feet (deed = South 44E50'11 East, 1821.21 feet) to a point on the south line of the North 1/2 of the Southeast Quarter of said Section 5; thence South 88E37'40 East along the south line of said North 1/2 of the Southeast Quarter of said Section 5, 1284.64 feet to the southeast corner of the North 1/2 of the Southeast Quarter of said Section 5; thence North 00E05'27 East along the east line of the Southeast Quarter of said Section 5, 1305.96 feet (deed = North 00E05'02 East, 1305.43 feet) to the northeast corner of the Southeast Quarter of said Section 5; thence North 00E30'15 East along the east line of the Northeast Quarter of said Section 5, 92.70 feet (deed = North 00E30'25 East) to a point on the centerline of Old Stagecoach Road; thence North 42E58'20 West along said centerline 163.13 feet; thence northwesterly, continuing along said centerline along a curve to the left having a radius of 600.00 feet and tangent to the last described course, an arc distance of 757.21 feet; thence South 64E43'10 West, continuing along said centerline 59.62 feet; thence southwesterly, continuing along said centerline along a curve to the right having a radius of 1100.00 feet and tangent to the last described course, an arch distance of 1279.29 feet; thence North 48E38'46 West, continuing along said centerline, 66.84 feet; thence northwesterly, continuing along said centerline along a curve to the left, having a radius of 650.00 feet and tangent to the last described course, an arc distance of 469.15 feet; thence North 90E00'00 West, continuing along said centerline, 29.80 feet to a point on the west line of the Northeast 1/4 of said Section 5; thence South


00E24'38 West, along said west line 619.67 feet (deed = South 00E24'22 West) to the point of beginning; subject to that part now being used for public road purposes. Containing 3,4412,150.30 square feet = 78.332 acres.

 

is hereby rezoned from District GP-6 (Low Density Residential Uses) to GP-7 (Agricultural and Low Density Residential Uses), all as shown outlined on a map marked Section 80-11A0560, which is attached hereto and made a part hereof, and which is hereby adopted as a part of an amendment to the zoning maps constituting a part of said chapter and as an amendment to Section 80-11 thereof.

 

Section B. That the Council finds and declares that before taking any action on the proposed amendment hereinabove, all public notices and hearings required by the Zoning Ordinance have been given and had.
