ORDINANCE NO. 970130

 

Approving a $2,072.00 contract with Ad Hoc Group Against Crime for the NAACP Civil Rights Townhall Meeting from the Neighborhood Tourist Development Fund (Third Council District); and repealing Ordinance No. 961244.

 

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF KANSAS CITY:

 

Section 1. That the Director of Neighborhood and Community Services is authorized to execute a $2,072.00 contract with Ad Hoc Group Against Crime for the NAACP Civil Rights Townhall Meeting from funds previously appropriated in the Neighborhood Tourist Development Fund to Account No. 97-235-067-2130B (Third Council District), which contract is hereby approved in substantial form as that on file in the Department of Neighborhood and Community Services.

 

Section 2. That Ordinance No. 961244 is hereby repealed.

I hereby certify that there is a balance, otherwise unencumbered, to the credit of the appropriation to which the foregoing expenditure is to be charged, and a cash balance, otherwise unencumbered, in the treasury, to the credit of the fund from which payment is to be made, each sufficient to meet the obligation hereby incurred.
