ORDINANCE NO. 020030

Authorizing a Cooperative Agreement with the City of Mission Woods, Kansas for the maintenance of State Line Road and directing the City Clerk to file certain documents with the appropriate offices.

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF KANSAS CITY:

Section 1. That the Director of Public Works is hereby authorized to enter into and execute, on behalf of the City of Kansas City, Missouri, a Cooperative Agreement with the City of Mission Woods, Kansas, for the maintenance of State Line Road, traffic signal devices, streetlights and drainage facilities from the centerline of West 50th Terrace to the north city limits of Mission Woods, Kansas (maintenance area). A copy of the Cooperative Agreement is attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference.

Section 2. That upon the effective date of this ordinance, the City Clerk is hereby directed to cause the ordinance and the attached Cooperative Agreement to be recorded in the office of the Recorder of Deeds of Jackson County, Missouri, and a copy thereof to be sent to the Missouri Secretary of State pursuant to Section 70.300, RSMo, 1978.
