ORDINANCE NO. 970198

 

Authorizing a one-year $90,540.00 contract and four one-year renewal options with Montgomery KONE Inc., for elevator and escalator maintenance and repair services at Kansas City International Airport from funds previously appropriated to 97-821-062-2350-B-1628, and subject to appropriations for the renewal options.

 

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF KANSAS CITY:

 

Section 1. That the Director of Aviation is hereby authorized to execute a $90,540.00 contract and four one-year renewal options with Montgomery KONE Inc., for elevator and escalator maintenance and repair services at Kansas City International Airport, said option years subject to appropriation of funds. A copy of the contract is on file in the office of the City Clerk.

 

Section 2. That the Director of Aviation is hereby authorized to expend an amount not to exceed $90,540.00 for the first year of the contract, from funds previously appropriated as follows:

 

97-821062-2350-B-1628 KCI-Facilities Maintenance $90,540.00

I hereby certify that there is a balance, otherwise unencumbered, to the credit of the appropriation to which the foregoing expenditure is to be charged, and a cash balance, otherwise unencumbered, in the treasury, to the credit of the fund from which payment is to be made, each sufficient to meet the obligation hereby incurred.
