ORDINANCE NO. 140049

 

Authorizing the Director of Water Services to enter into a $16,270,000.00 contract with Foley Company for the Turkey Creek Wastewater Pump Station Modification project.

 

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF KANSAS CITY:

 

Section 1. That the Director of Water Services Department is authorized to execute Contract No. 908, Project No. 81000173, with Foley Company, in the amount of $16,270,000.00, for the Turkey Creek Wastewater Pump Station Modification project.

Section 2. That the Director of Water Services Department is authorized to charge up to $491,865.00 for project management costs associated with this project. 

 

Section 3. That the Director of Water Services is authorized to expend up to $17,800,000.00, from Account No. AL-8186-807715-B-611060, Pump Stations, to satisfy the costs of this project.

I hereby certify that there is a balance, otherwise unencumbered, to the credit of the appropriation to which the foregoing expenditure is to be charged, and a cash balance, otherwise unencumbered, in the treasury, to the credit of the fund from which payment is to be made, each sufficient to meet the obligation hereby incurred.
