ORDINANCE NO. 920462

 

Authorizing a First Supplement to Agreement No. 900632 in the amount of $1,842,689.00 with Harrington and Cortelyou, Inc. for engineering services relating to replacement of the Chouteau Bridge.

 

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF KANSAS CITY:

 

Section 1. That the Director of Public Works is hereby authorized to enter into and execute on behalf of Kansas City, a First Supplement to Agreement No. 900632 between Harrington and Cortelyou, Inc. and Kansas City, Missouri, relating to engineering services for the replacement of the Chouteau Bridge over Missouri River to be completed in three phases:

 

Phase A: Feasibility Study Phase B: Preliminary and Final Engineering Design Phase C: Construction Observation

 

to begin Phase B, Project No. 5352, Council District 1, Kansas City, Missouri. The said Agreement shall be essentially in the form which is attached and incorporated herein by reference.

 

Section 2. That the Director of Public Works is hereby authorized to expend the sum of $1,842,689.00 from funds heretofore appropriated to Account No. 6-40420-T as and for consideration in the aforesaid First Supplement to Agreement No. 900632.

I hereby certify that there is a balance, otherwise unencumbered, to the credit of the appropriation to which the foregoing expenditure is to be charged, and a cash balance, otherwise unencumbered, in the treasury, to the credit of the fund from which payment is to be made, each sufficient to meet the obligation hereby incurred.
