ORDINANCE NO. 030735

Authorizing a Cooperative Agreement for water purchase between Public Water Supply District No. 5 of Clay County, Missouri and Kansas City for a period of thirty-five (35) years; and directing the City Clerk to record this Cooperative Agreement.

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF KANSAS CITY:

Section 1. That the Director of Water Services is hereby authorized to execute, on behalf of Kansas City, a Cooperative Agreement for water purchase between Public Water Supply District No. 5 of Clay County, Missouri and Kansas City, Missouri for a period of thirty-five (35) years after its effective date. A copy of the agreement is on file in the office of the Director of Water Services.

Section 2. That upon the effective date of said agreement, the City Clerk is directed to cause a copy of this ordinance and the agreement to be recorded in the respective Offices of the Recorder of Deeds for Jackson County, Missouri and Clay County, Missouri, and with the Secretary of State for the State of Missouri, in accordance with Section 70.300, Revised Statutes of Missouri.
