COMMITTEE SUBSTITUTE FOR ORDINANCE NO. 001152

 

Amending Chapter 80, Code of Ordinances, by adding a new section to be known as Section 80-11A0305, rezoning an area of approximately 28.48 acres generally located at the southwest corner of N.W. 56th Street and N. Northwood Road from District RA (Agricultural) to District R-1a (One-Family Dwellings). (12441-P)

 

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF KANSAS CITY:

 

Section A. That Chapter 80, Code of Ordinances of the City of Kansas City, Missouri, 1996, commonly known as the Zoning Ordinance, is hereby amended by enacting a new section to be known as Section 80-11A0305, rezoning an area of approximately 28.48 acres generally located at the southwest corner of N.W. 56th Street and N. Northwood Road from District RA (Agricultural) to District R-1a (One-Family Dwellings), said section to read as follows:

 

Section 80-11A0305. That an area legally described as:

 

A tract of land in the Northwest Quarter of Section 32, Township 51, Range 33, Kansas City, Platte County, Missouri, being bounded and described as follows: Commencing at the northeast corner of said Northwest Quarter; thence North 89E14'02" West along the north line of said Northwest Quarter, 29.41 feet; thence South 0E45'58" West, 30.00 feet to the true point of beginning of the tract to be herein described; thence South 0E22'30" East, 724.05 feet; thence South 89E36'00" West, 203.71 feet; thence South 0E22'30" East, 208.75 feet to a point on the south line of the North One-Half of said Northwest Quarter; thence South 89E36'00" West, along said south line, 1021.62 feet; thence North 0E22'30" West, 180.00 feet; thence South 89E37'30" West, 160.00 feet; thence North 0E22'30" West, 781.13 feet to a point on the south right of way line of N.W. 56th Street, as now established; thence South 89E14'02" East, along said south line, 1385.60 feet to the true point of beginning. Containing 28.48 acres, more or less.

 

is hereby rezoned from District RA (Agricultural) to District R-1a (One-Family Dwellings), all as shown outlined on a map marked Section 80-11A0305, which is attached hereto and made a part hereof, and which is hereby adopted as a part of an amendment to the zoning maps constituting a part of said chapter and as an amendment to Section 80-11 thereof.

 

Section B. That the Council finds and declares that before taking any action on the proposed amendment hereinabove, all public notices and hearings required by the Zoning Ordinance have been given and had.
