ORDINANCE NO. 971648

 

Approving the preliminary plat of E & A Subdivision on a 1.156 acre tract of land generally located between Main Street and Baltimore Avenue, north of 11th Street. (SD 0809 and SD 0809A)

 

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF KANSAS CITY:

 

Section A. That the preliminary plat of E & A Subdivision on a 1.156 acre tract of land generally located between Main Street and Baltimore Avenue, north of 11th Street, and more specifically described as follows:

 

This is a survey and subdivision of all of Lots 1 through 7, inclusive, Block 18, Ashburns Addition, a subdivision, according to the recorded plat thereof, including the vacated alley lying adjacent to the east line of said Lots 1 through 7; all that part of Lot 3, Block 1, Smarts Place Subdivision, a subdivision, according to the recorded plat thereof; all that part of Lots 4, 5, 6 and 7, Smarts Partition No. 3, a subdivision, according to the recorded plat thereof; all that part of Lots 1, 2, 3 and 4, Smarts Partition No. 2, a subdivision, according to the recorded plat thereof; all in Kansas City, Jackson County, Missouri, being more particularly described as follows: Beginning at the northwest corner of Lot 1, Block 18 of said Ashburns Addition, being also a point of intersection of the south line of an east-west alley with the east right of way line of Baltimore Avenue, as said alley and avenue are now both established; thence South 8708'56" East along the north line of said Lot 1 and along the south line of said alley, a distance of 115.08 feet (115.18 feet, plat) to the northeast corner of said Lot 1 and a point on the west line of a north-south alley; thence South 217'14" West along the east line of said Lot 1 and along the west line of said alley; a distance of 7.05 feet to a point on the westerly prolongation of a line described in Book B-1605 at page 295 and in Book B-1611 at page 263; thence South 8707'53" East along the westerly prolongation of said described line, a distance of 140.09 feet to a point on the west right of way line of Main Street, as established by right of way Deed No. 11 at page 159; thence South 217'15" West along said west right of way line, a distance of 215.48 to a point on the south line of Lot 4, of said Smarts Partition No. 2; thence North 8658'14" West along the south line of said Lot 4, a distance of 124 feet to a point on the east line of a north-south vacated alley; thence North 215'45" East along said east line, a distance of 40.97 feet to a point on the easterly prolongation of the south line of Lot 7, Block 18 of said Ashburn Addition; thence North 8712'08" west along said easterly prolongation and along the south line of said Lot 7, a distance of 130.91 feet to the southwest corner thereof; thence North 212'37" East along the west line of Lots 7, 6, 5, 4, 3, 2 and 1 of said Block 18 and along the east right of way line of said Baltimore Avenue, a distance of 181.34 feet (181 feet, plat) to the point of beginning. Containing 1.156 acres, more or less.

 


is hereby approved, subject to the following condition:

 

That the developer cause the area to be platted and processed in accordance with Chapter 66, Code of Ordinances of Kansas City, Missouri, as amended, commonly known as the Subdivision Regulations.

 


A copy of the preliminary plat is on file in the office of the City Clerk under Document No. 971648, which is attached hereto and made a part hereof.

 

Section B. That the Council finds and declares that before taking any action on the proposed preliminary plat hereinabove, all public notices and hearings required by the Subdivision Regulations have been given and had.
