ORDINANCE NO. 980907

Estimating revenue in the amount of $100,000.00 in the Westside Business Park-State Grant account of the General Fund; appropriating the sum of $100,000.00 to the Westside Business Park-Brownsfield Program account; and authorizing expenditure of the $100,000.00 for the Westside Business Park Project.

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF KANSAS CITY:

Section 1. That the revenue in the following account of the General Fund is hereby estimated in the following amount:

99-100-055-7633 Westside Business Park-State Grant $100,000.00

Section 2. That the sum of $100,000.00 is hereby appropriated from the Unappropriated Fund Balance of the General Fund to the following account in the General Fund:

99-100-055-2072-B Westside Business Park-Brownsfield Program $100,000.00

Section 3. That the Director of the Department of Housing and Community Development is hereby authorized to expend funds in the amount of $100,000.00 from Account No. 99-100-055-2072-B, Westside Business Park-Brownsfield Program, for the Westside Business Park Project as previously authorized by Ordinance No. 980107, passed February 5, 1998.

I hereby certify that there is a balance, otherwise unencumbered, to the credit of the appropriation to which the foregoing expenditure is to be charged, and a cash balance, otherwise unencumbered, in the treasury, to the credit of the fund from which payment is to be made, each sufficient to meet the obligation hereby incurred.
