ORDINANCE NO. 990179

 

Authorizing execution of a Second Supplemental Agreement with FINEnvironmental Consulting Engineers to provide additional remediation services on the former ATA site (a/k/a Longfellow Heights Apartments) located at 25th and Campbell Streets and to expend $30,000.00 in previously appropriated funds therefor.

 

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF KANSAS CITY:

 

Section 1. That the Director of Environmental Management is hereby authorized, on behalf of the City, to enter into a Second Supplemental Agreement with FINEnvironmental Consulting Engineers to provide additional remediation services on the former ATA site (a/k/a Longfellow Heights Apartments) located at 25th and Campbell Streets. The agreement shall be essentially in the form which is attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference.

 

Section 2. That the Director of Environmental Management is hereby authorized to expend an amount not to exceed $30,000.00 from funds appropriated to the Hospital Hill Environmental Cleanup, Account No. 99-100-064-7204-T for the above-described services.

I hereby certify that there is a balance, otherwise unencumbered, to the credit of the appropriation to which the foregoing expenditure is to be charged, and a cash balance, otherwise unencumbered, in the treasury, to the credit of the fund from which payment is to be made, each sufficient to meet the obligation hereby incurred.
