ORDINANCE NO. 130561

 

Authorizing the Director of Water Services to enter into a $4,372,000.00 contract with Landmark Structures I, L.P. for the Elevated Water Storage Tank Near Highway 291 and Interstate 435 project.

 

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF KANSAS CITY:

 

Section 1. That the Director of Water Services Department is hereby authorized to execute, on behalf of Kansas City, Contract No. 8817, Project No. 80000951, with Landmark Structures I, L.P., in the amount of $4,372,000.00 for construction of a new 2.0 million gallon Elevated Water Storage Tank Near Highway 291 and Interstate 435 project, located in Clay County, Kansas City, Missouri.  A copy of this contract is on file in the office of the Director of Water Services.

Section 2. That the Director of Water Services is authorized to expend up to the sum of $4,800,000.00, from Account No. AL-8073-807713-B-611060, Storage Facility, to satisfy the costs of this project.

I hereby certify that there is a balance, otherwise unencumbered, to the credit of the appropriation to which the foregoing expenditure is to be charged, and a cash balance, otherwise unencumbered, in the treasury, to the credit of the fund from which payment is to be made, each sufficient to meet the obligation hereby incurred.
