ORDINANCE NO. 900442

Authorizing a Terminal Facilities Agreement with USAir, Inc. at KCI Airport granting certain rights to gates in Terminal A and reimbursing USAir for Terminal C improvements.

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF KANSAS CITY:

Section 1. That the Acting Director of Aviation is hereby authorized to execute a Terminal Facilities Agreement with USAir, Inc. at Kansas City International Airport. A copy of the agreement is on file in the office of the City Clerk.

Section 2. That the terms and conditions, privileges and obligations as set forth in said agreement, including the grant of option rights to lease additional gate facilities in Terminal A and reimbursement by rental credits for improvements to USAir facilities in Terminal C, are hereby approved.

I hereby certify that there is a balance, otherwise unencumbered, to the credit of the appropriation to which the foregoing expenditure is to be charged, and a cash balance, otherwise unencumbered, in the treasury, to the credit of the fund from which payment is to be made, each sufficient to meet the obligation hereby incurred.
