ORDINANCE NO. 050083

Authorizing a first amendment in the amount of $2,140,000.00 to the Bus Rapid Transit Agreement between the City of Kansas City, the Kansas City Board of Parks and Recreation, and the Kansas City Area Transportation Authority to complete the Citys obligation for infrastructure improvements and provide the local match for federal funds.

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF KANSAS CITY:

Section 1. That the City of Kansas City does hereby approve and authorize the execution of, in substantial form as that attached to this ordinance, the first amendment in the amount of $2,140,000.00 to the Bus Rapid Transit Agreement between the City of Kansas City, the Board of Parks and Recreation Commissioners, and the Kansas City Area Transportation Authority for the purpose of providing authorization to complete the City's obligation for infrastructure improvements and provide the local match for federal funds.

Section 2. That the Board of Parks and Recreation Commissioners is hereby authorized to expend $2,140,000.00 in consideration of the first amendment.
