ORDINANCE NO. 010300

Authorizing a $10,000.00 contract amendment with Eatons Auto Service d/b/a Dans Tow Services for a total contract amount of $176,500.00 for towing abandoned and impounded vehicles.

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF KANSAS CITY:

Section 1. That the Director of Neighborhood and Community Services is hereby authorized to amend a contract with Eatons Auto Service d/b/a Dans Tow Services, in the amount of $10,000.00 for a total contract amount not to exceed $176,500.00, for towing abandoned and impounded vehicles to Tow Services from funds heretofore appropriated to Account No. 01-100-057-2325-B. A copy of the contract amendment, in substantial form, is attached hereto and is hereby approved.

I hereby certify that there is a balance, otherwise unencumbered, to the credit of the appropriation to which the foregoing expenditure is to be charged, and a cash balance, otherwise unencumbered, in the treasury, to the credit of the fund from which payment is to be made, each sufficient to meet the obligation hereby incurred.
