RESOLUTION NO. 060668

 

Amending the General Development and Land Use Plan, Kansas City International Airport, by modifying the land use designation for an approximately 89.19 acre tract of land generally located on the east side of Interurban Road, about 1850 feet north of N.W. 128th Street, from general transient retail business to low density residential. (247-S-98)

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF KANSAS CITY:

 

Section A. That the General Development and Land Use Plan, Kansas City International Airport, is hereby amended by modifying the land use designation for an approximately 89.19 acre tract of land generally located on the east side of Interurban Road, about 1850 feet north of N.W. 128th Street, to modify from general transient retail business to low density residential, and more specifically described as follows:

 

 

All that part of the West one-half of the Northwest Quarter and West one-half of the Southwest Quarter of Section 12, Township 52 North, Range 34 West of the 5th P.M., Platte County, Missouri lying North and East of Interurban Road, as now established, and being more particularly described as follows: Beginning at the Northwest corner of the Northwest Quarter of said Section 12; thence South 894616 East, along the North line of said Northwest Quarter, a distance of 1333.50 feet to the Northeast corner West one-half of said Northwest Quarter; thence South 003625 West, along the East line of said West one-half, a distance of 2642.20 feet to the Southeast corner of the West one-half of said Northwest Quarter; thence South 002834 West, along the East line of the West one-half of the Southwest Quarter of said Section 12, a distance of 1166.43 feet to the Northeasterly right of way for Interurban Road, as now exists; thence North 362212 West, along said Northeasterly right of way, a distance of 2215.10 feet to the intersection of said Northeasterly right of way with the West line of the Northwest Quarter of said Section 12; thence North 003002 East, along said West line, a distance of 2030.24 feet to the Point of Beginning and containing 3,885,016 square feet or 89.19 acres, more or less.

 

all as shown outlined on a map marked General Development and Land Use Plan, Kansas City International Airport, as amended, which is attached hereto and made a part hereof, and which is hereby adopted as a part of an amendment to the aforesaid plan.

 

Section B. That the Council finds and declares that before taking any action on the proposed amendment hereinabove, all public notices have been given and hearings required by the Zoning Ordinance have been held.
