ORDINANCE NO. 110740

 

Rezoning an area of approximately 0.56 acres generally located on the east side of N.W. Hampton Road approximately 6,000 feet north of Missouri Highway 152 from District AG-R to District KCIA. (13543-P-4)

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF KANSAS CITY:

Section A. That Chapter 88, Code of Ordinances of the City of Kansas City, Missouri, commonly known as the Zoning and Development Code, is hereby amended by enacting a new section to be known as Section 88-20A0893, rezoning an area of approximately 0.56 acres generally located on the east side of N.W. Hampton Road approximately 6,000 feet north of Missouri Highway 152 from District AG-R (Agricultural-Residential) to District KCIA (Airport), said section to read as follows:

Section 88-20A0893. That an area legally described as:

A tract of land generally located in the southeast quarter of Section 32, Township 52 North, Range 34 W, in Platte County, Missouri, being a part of the tract of land described in Missouri Warranty Deed, Book 574, Page 364 and more particularly described as follows:

 

Commencing at the southeast corner of said Section 32, thence South 89 degrees 47 minutes 12 seconds West (Deed=South 89 degrees 55 minutes 45 seconds West) along the south line of said southeast quarter, a distance of 39.60 feet to the point of beginning of the herein described tract; thence continuing South 89 degrees 47 minutes 12 seconds West along said south line, a distance of 43.29 feet to the physical centerline of Hampton Road, as it now exists; thence along said physical centerline the following nine courses; North 16 degrees 36 minutes 11 seconds West, a distance of 60.97 feet; thence North 15 degrees 43 minutes 59 seconds West, a distance of 48.09 feet; thence North 14 degrees 35 minutes 49 seconds West, a distance of 51.31 feet; thence North 12 degrees 49 minutes 43 seconds West, a distance of 48.35 feet; thence North 06 degrees 23 minutes 15 seconds West, a distance of 67.11 feet; thence North 01 degrees 27 minutes 01 seconds West, a distance of 97.70 feet; thence North 00 degrees 06 minutes 06 seconds West, a distance of 101.98 feet; thence North 00 degrees 51 minutes 12 seconds East, a distance of 98.30 feet; thence North 01 degrees 25 minutes 36 seconds East, a distance of 95.04 feet to the north line of said tract as described in Book 574, Page 364; thence North 89 degrees 47 minutes 12 seconds East (Deed=North 89 degrees 55 minutes 45 seconds East) along said north line, a distance of 63.18 feet to the east line of said tract; thence South 02 degrees 55 minutes 13 seconds West (Deed=South 03 degrees 04 minutes 15 seconds West) along said east line, a distance of 474.73 feet (Deed=474.72 feet); thence South 19 degrees 04 minutes 47 seconds East (Deed= South18 degrees 55 minutes 45 seconds East) continuing along said east line, a distance of 197.99 feet (Deed=198.00 feet) to the point of beginning, except that part in existing right of way for Hampton Road.

 

is hereby rezoned from District AG-R (Agricultural-Residential) to District KCIA (Airport) as described above, all as shown outlined on a map marked Section 88-20A0893, which is attached hereto and made a part hereof, and which is hereby adopted as a part of an amendment to the zoning maps constituting a part of said chapter and as an amendment to Section 88-20 thereof.

Section B. That the Council finds and declares that before taking any action on the proposed amendment hereinabove, all public notices have been given and hearings have been held as required by the Zoning and Development Code.
