ORDINANCE NO. 030914

Accepting various easements and deeds in Platte County; releasing easements in Platte County; and directing the City Clerk to record the acceptance.

 

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF KANSAS CITY:

 

Section 1. That various easements and deeds in Kansas City, Platte County, executed by the following persons, and which appear of record as the instrument numbers and respective books and pages as follows:

 

1. Storm Drainage Easement from Terry W. Flood Construction Company, Instrument No. 0001310, Book 991, page 247;

 

2. Storm Drainage Easement from Rhonda K. Brown and Larry Brown, Instrument No. 0001311, Book 991, page 248;

 

3. Storm Drainage Easement from Edward M. And Iona Oberzan, Instrument No. 0001312, Book 991, page 249;

 

4. Storm Drainage Easement from Madalaine Mandina and Steven R. Davis, Instrument No. 0001313, Book 991, page 250;

and described in Exhibit A, which is attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference, all recorded in the office of the Recorder of Deeds for Platte County, Missouri, at Platte City, are hereby accepted. That upon the effective date of this Ordinance, the City Clerk is hereby directed to cause this Ordinance and Exhibit A to be recorded in the office of the Recorder of Deeds for Platte County, Missouri, at Platte City.

 

Section 6. That the Standard Sewer Easement defined in Document No. 34013, filed in Book 303 at page 29, in the Office of the Platte County Recorder, described as follows: A tract of land in the Northwest Quarter of Section 18, Township 51, Range 33, Platte County, Missouri. Commencing at a point on the west line of said Quarter Section, which is 165,64 feet north of the southwest corner thereof; thence east along the north line of the south 10.0 acres of said Northwest Quarter and north line of Platte Woods, a subdivision of land in Platte County, Missouri, 218.37 feet to the easterly right-of-way line of the southbound U.S. Highway No. 71; thence due east along the north line of the south 10.0 acres of said Northwest Quarter, being also the north line of Platte Woods city limits, 49.75 feet to the point of beginning and the centerline of the 10 foot wide Standard Sewer Easement to be released; thence due north 184 feet to the point of termination, be and the same is hereby released to its present owners, their heirs and assigns, and the Director of Public Works, if so requested, is authorized to execute a quit claim deed to the present owners, their successors or assigns, as further evidence thereof.
