ORDINANCE NO. 951454
Approving the plat of Bradford Place-First Plat, an
addition in Kansas City, Clay County, Missouri; accepting various easements;
establishing grades on public ways; accepting certain lands for park purposes
forever, in accordance with Section 58 of Article III of the Charter of Kansas
City.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF KANSAS CITY:
Section 1. That the plat of Bradford Place-First
Plat, a subdivision in Kansas City, Clay County, Missouri, a true and correct
copy of which is attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference is hereby
approved.
Section 2. That the plat granting and reserving
unto Kansas City an easement and license or right to locate, construct, operate
and maintain facilities including, but not limited to, water, gas, sewerage,
telephone, cable TV, surface drainage, underground conduits, pad mounted
transformers, service pedestals, any and all of them upon, over, under and
along the strips of land outlined and designated on the plat by the words
utility easement or U/E be and the same are hereby accepted and where other
easements are outlined and designated on the plat for a particular purpose, be
and the same are hereby accepted for the purpose as therein set out.
Section 3. That the grades of the streets and other
public ways set out on the plat, herein accepted, are hereby established at the
top of curb, locating and defining the grade points which shall be connected by
true planes or vertical curves between such adjacent grade points, the
elevations of which are therein given, in feet above the City directrix.
Section 4. That the lands heretofore designated and
selected by the Board of Park and Recreation Commissioners as evidenced by
their Resolution No. 23063 duly adopted on July 25, 1995, for public use for
park purposes to wit:
A tract of land in the Southeast Quarter and the
Fractional Southwest Quarter of Section 15, Township 51, Range 33, Kansas
City, Clay County, Missouri, being bounded and described as follows:
Commencing at the southeast corner of said Fractional Southwest Quarter;
thence South 89 26'06" West, along the south line of said Fractional
Southwest Quarter, 86.04 feet; thence North 0 33'54" West, 774.18
feet to a point on the northerly line of N.W. Hidden Lakes Drive, as now
established, said point being also the true point of beginning of the
tract to be herein described; thence westerly, along said northerly line,
on a curve to the left, having an initial tangent bearing of North 83
11'24" West, a radius of 853.90 feet, an arc distance of 117.87 feet;
thence South 85 54'05" West, along said northerly right of way line,
329.27 feet to a point on the easterly line of N. Hickory, as now established;
thence North 4 04'05" East (Plat-North 4 00'00" East), 19.22
feet to the southwest corner of Lot 46, Hidden Lakes-Lots 45 thru 92 incl,
Tract A, Tract B; thence North 88 06'24" East (Plat-North 88 02'19"
East), along the southerly line of said Hidden Lakes-Lots 45 thru 92 incl,
Tract A, Tract B, 62.48 feet; thence North 56 58'54" East (Plat-North
56 54'49" East), along said southerly line, 55.33 feet; thence South
78 48'46" East (Plat-South 78 52'51" East), along said southerly
line, 101.12 feet; thence North 70 30'50" East (Plat-North 70
26'45" East), along said southerly line, 21.23 feet; thence North 62
41'59" East (Plat-North 62 37'54" East), along said southerly
line, 286.23 feet; thence North 48 17'05" East (Plat-North 48 13'00"
East), along said southerly line, 103.56 feet (Plat-103.58 feet); thence
North 34 13'46" West (Plat-North 34 17'51" West), along said
southerly line, 72.82 feet; thence North 25 43'52" East (Plat-North
25 39'47" East), along said southerly line, 42.90 feet; thence North
55 40'58" East (Plat-North 55 36'53" East), along said southerly
line, 84.28 feet; thence South 85 46'20" East, 120.20 feet; thence
South 21 11'31" West, 10.08 feet; thence South 30 13'35" West,
73.55 feet; thence South 43 04'33" West, 159.65 feet; thence South 48
46'42" West, 102.09 feet; thence South 24 42'47" West, 131.28
feet to the true point of beginning. Containing 1.35 acres, more or less.
Containing 1.35 acres, more or less be and the same is
hereby accepted for public use for park purposes and shall remain such forever
in accordance with Section 58 of Article III of the Charter of Kansas City.
Section 5. That the Council finds that the City
Plan Commission has duly endorsed its approval of this Ordinance hereon.
