ORDINANCE NO. 200147

 

Authorizing a $3,578,721.55 design contract with HNTB Corporation for runway rehabilitation and lighting at the Kansas City International Airport; authorizing a maximum expenditure of $3,936,593.55.

 

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF KANSAS CITY:

 

Section 1. That the Director of Aviation is hereby authorized to execute a contract with HNTB Corporation for design professional services for Project No. 62190509 – Design Airport Development KCI for $3,578,721.55. A copy of the contract is on file in the Aviation Department.

 

Section 2. That the Director of Aviation is hereby authorized to amend and increase this contract by a contingency not to exceed $357,872.00.

 

Section 3. That the sum of $3,936,593.55 has been previously appropriated to Account No. 20-8300-627270-B-62190509.

I hereby certify that there is a balance, otherwise unencumbered, to the credit of the appropriation to which the foregoing expenditure is to be charged, and a cash balance, otherwise unencumbered, in the treasury, to the credit of the fund from which payment is to be made, each sufficient to meet the obligation hereby incurred.
