Rezoning an area of approximately
63.5 acres generally bounded by an area which is approximately 150 feet west of
Bellefontaine Avenue on the west, approximately 400 feet south of Thompson
Avenue on the south, St. John Avenue on the north, and approximately 150 feet
east of Benton Boulevard on the east and generally bounded by St. John Avenue
on the south, Gladstone Boulevard and Walrond Avenue on the west, 200 feet
north of Norledge Avenue on the north, and approximately 340 feet east of Askew
Avenue on the east from Districts R-4, R-2a, and R-2b to District R-1a.

BY THE COUNCIL OF KANSAS CITY:
Section A. That
Chapter 80, Code of Ordinances of the City of Kansas City, Missouri, commonly
known as the Zoning Ordinance, is hereby amended by enacting a new section to
be known as Section 80-11A0759, rezoning 63.5 acres generally bounded by an
area which is approximately 150 feet west of Bellefontaine Avenue on the west,
approximately 400 feet south of Thompson Avenue on the south, St. John Avenue
on the north, and approximately 150 feet east of Benton Boulevard on the east
and generally bounded by St. John Avenue on the south, Gladstone Boulevard and
Walrond Avenue on the west, 200 feet north of Norledge Avenue on the north, and
approximately 340 feet east of Askew Avenue on the east from Districts R-4 (Low
Apartments), R-2a (Two-Family Dwellings), and R-2b (Two-Family Dwellings) to
District R-1a (One-Family Dwellings), said section to read as follows:

map marked Section 80-11A0759, which is attached hereto and made a part hereof,
and which is hereby adopted as a part of an amendment to the zoning maps
constituting a part of said chapter and as an amendment to Section 80-11
thereof.
Section B. That
the Council finds and declares that before taking any action on the proposed
amendment hereinabove, all public notices and hearings required by the Zoning
Ordinance have been given and had.
