ORDINANCE NO. 090362

 

Authorizing the City Manager to enter into a one year $12,500,000.00 contract with the Metropolitan Ambulance Services Trust to provide a dedicated ambulance service to the residents of Kansas City, Missouri.

 

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF KANSAS CITY:

 

Section 1. That a contract between the City of Kansas City, Missouri, acting through the City Manager, and Metropolitan Ambulance Services Trust (MAST), acting through its Executive Director, whereby MAST will provide the City of Kansas City, Missouri with dedicated ambulance services, in the amount of $12,500,000.00 for a one year period from May 1, 2009 through April 30, 2010 from funds previously appropriated to Account Nos. 10-2330-201000-F and 10-2320-201000-E, is hereby accepted in substantial form and approved.

I hereby certify that there is a balance, otherwise unencumbered, to the credit of the appropriation to which the foregoing expenditure is to be charged, and a cash balance, otherwise unencumbered, in the treasury, to the credit of the fund from which payment is to be made, each sufficient to meet the obligation hereby incurred.
