Accepting various easements and deeds in Jackson, Clay and Platte Counties; releasing various easements; and directing the City Clerk to record the acceptance.

 

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF KANSAS CITY:

Section 5. That the legal descriptions for such properties listed in Sections 1, 2 , 3 and 4 are set forth in Exhibit "A", which is attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference.

 

Section 6. That the north 3 feet of the south 7 feet of the platted utility easement located along the south 7 feet of Lot 11, Morningview, a subdivision of record in Kansas City, Jackson County, Missouri, except the west 5 feet thereof, be and the same is hereby released to its present owners, their heirs and assigns and the Director of Public Works, if so requested, is authorized to execute a quit claim deed to the present owners, their successors or assigns, as further evidence thereof.

 

Section 7. That the utility easements in vacated 28th Terrace between Warwick Trafficway and the east line of Lot 74, Union Terminal Addition, previously retained by Ordinance No. 15815, passed August 8, 1952, in Kansas City, Jackson County, Missouri, be and the same is hereby released to its present owners, their heirs and assigns and the Director of Public Works, if so requested, is authorized to execute a quit claim deed to the present owners, their successors or assigns, as further evidence thereof.

 

Section 8. That upon the effective date of this ordinance, the City Clerk is hereby directed to cause this ordinance to be recorded in the offices of the Recorder of Deeds for Jackson County, Missouri, at Kansas City and Independence, Clay County, Missouri, at Liberty, and for Platte County, Missouri, at Platte City, respectively.
