Amending
Chapter 80, Code of Ordinances, by adding a new section to be known as Section 80-11A0307,
rezoning two tracts of land of approximately 10.37 and 13.42 acres generally
located approximately 4,000 feet west of N. Flintlock Road, 4,000 feet north of
N.E. Barry Road, from District RA (Agricultural) to District R-1a (One-Family
Dwellings). (11926-P-7)

IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF KANSAS CITY:
Section
A. That Chapter 80, Code of Ordinances of the City of Kansas City, Missouri,
1996, commonly known as the Zoning Ordinance, is hereby amended by enacting a
new section to be known as Section 80-11A0307, rezoning two tracts land of
approximately 10.37 and 13.42 acres generally located approximately 4,000 feet
west of N. Flintlock Road, 4,000 feet north of N.E. Barry Road, from District
RA (Agricultural) to District R-1a (One-Family Dwellings), said section to read
as follows:

80-11A0307. That an area legally described as:
A tract of land in the Southeast Quarter of
Section 3, Township 51, Range 32, Kansas City, Clay County, Missouri, being
bounded and described as follows: Commencing at the northwest corner of said
Southeast Quarter; thence South 88E24'28"
East, along the north line of said Southeast Quarter, 369.83 feet to the true
point of beginning of the tract to be herein described; thence continuing South
88E24'28" East, along
said north line, 925.98 feet to the northwest corner of the East One-Half of
said Southeast Quarter; thence South 00E42'14"
West, along the west line of said East One-Half, 20.00 feet; thence North 88E24'28" West, 10.75 feet; thence
South 00E42'14" West, 485.92
feet; thence South 80E54'39" West, 421.73
feet; thence South 67E11'37" West, 213.43
feet; thence North 23E27'58" West, 742.04
feet to the true point of beginning. Containing 10.37 acres, more or less.
A tract of land in the Southeast Quarter of
Section 3 and the Northeast Quarter of Section 10, all in Township 51, Range
32, Kansas City, Clay County, Missouri, being bounded and described as follows:
Commencing at the northwest corner of said Southeast Quarter; thence South 88E24'28" East, along the north line of
said Southeast Quarter, 1302.14 feet; thence South 01E35'32" West, 1101.60 feet to the
true point of beginning of the tract to be herein described; thence South 00E42'14" West, 1498.80 feet to a point
on the south line of said Southeast Quarter; thence South 88E09'58" East, along said south line,
513.88 feet; thence South 75E03'57"
West, 579.12 feet; thence North 17E48'11"
West, 771.31 feet; thence North 29E50'32"
West, 798.54 feet; thence North 71E12'30"
East, 736.83 feet to the true point of beginning. Containing 13.42 acres, more
or less.

hereby rezoned from District RA (Agricultural) to District R-1a (One-Family
Dwellings), all as shown outlined on a map marked Section 80-11A0307, which is
attached hereto and made a part hereof, and which is hereby adopted as a part
of an amendment to the zoning maps constituting a part of said chapter and as
an amendment to Section 80-11 thereof.
Section
B. That the Council finds and declares that before taking any action on the
proposed amendment hereinabove, all public notices and hearings required by the
Zoning Ordinance have been given and had.
