ORDINANCE NO. 030068

 

Amending Chapter 80, Code of Ordinances, by adding a new section to be known as Section 80-11A0458, rezoning an area generally located at the northeast, northwest and southwest corners of 42nd Street and Woodland Avenue from District C-1 (Neighborhood Retail Business) to District R-2b (Two-Family Dwellings). BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF KANSAS CITY:

 

Section A. That Chapter 80, Code of Ordinances of the City of Kansas City, Missouri, commonly known as the Zoning Ordinance, is hereby amended by enacting a new section to be known as Section 80-11A0458, rezoning an area of approximately .82 acres generally located at the northeast, northwest and southwest corners of 42nd Street and Woodland Avenue from District C-1 (Neighborhood Retail Business) to District R-2b (Two-Family Dwellings), said section to read as follows:

 

Section 80-11A0458. That an area legally described as:

 

Lot 13, Block 8, Niagara Place and the west half of the vacated alley lying east of and adjacent said lot, and Lots 3, 4 and 5, W. P. Allens Addition, and Lots 1, 2 and 3, Bischofsbergers 1st Addition, all in Kansas City, Jackson County, Missouri.

 

is hereby rezoned from District C-1 (Neighborhood Retail Business) to District R-2b (Two-Family Dwellings), all as shown outlined on a map marked Section 80-11A0458, which is attached hereto and made a part hereof, and which is hereby adopted as a part of an amendment to the zoning maps constituting a part of said chapter and as an amendment to Section 80-11 thereof.

 

Section B. That the Council finds and declares that before taking any action on the proposed amendment hereinabove, all public notices and hearings required by the Zoning Ordinance have been given and had.
