ORDINANCE NO. 030965

 

Amending Chapter 80, Code of Ordinances, by adding a new section to be known as Section 80-11A0506, rezoning an area of approximately 1.5 acres generally located 600 feet east of N.E. Searcy Creek Parkway on the south side of N.E. Parvin Road from District R-1b (One-Family Dwellings) to District R-2b (Two-Family Dwellings). (12937-P)

 

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF KANSAS CITY:

 

Section A. That Chapter 80, Code of Ordinances of the City of Kansas City, Missouri, commonly known as the Zoning Ordinance, is hereby amended by enacting a new section to be known as Section 80-11A0506, rezoning an area of approximately 1.5 acres generally located 600 feet east of N.E. Searcy Creek Parkway on the south side of N.E. Parvin Road from District R-1b (One-Family Dwellings) to District R-2b (Two-Family Dwellings), said section to read as follows:

 

Section 80-11A0506. That an area legally described as:

 

All that part of the Southeast Quarter of Section 5, Township 50, Range 32, in Kansas City, Clay County, Missouri, described as follows: Commencing at the southeast corner of the Southeast Quarter of Section 5; thence North 0E33'12" West the east line of said Southeast Quarter for 382.29 feet for the point of beginning; thence South 89E24'48" West parallel to the south line of said Southeast Quarter for 221.02 feet; thence North 0E33'12" West parallel to said east line for 82.47 feet to a point 464.76 feet north and 221.02 feet west of the southeast corner of said Southeast Quarter; thence North 17E23'01" West for 147.49 feet to the south right of way line of Parvin Road (100 feet right of way); thence North 69E50'57" East along said right of way line for 163.94 feet tangent to a curve to the left; thence along said curve, radius 2914.79 feet, delta 2E17'52", for 116.89 feet to the east line of said Southeast Quarter; thence South 0E33'12" East along said east line for 320.00 feet to the point of beginning. Containing 64,883.57 square feet or 1.490 acres, more or less.

 

is hereby rezoned from District R-1b (One-Family Dwellings) to District R-2b (Two-Family Dwellings, all as shown outlined on a map marked Section 80-11A0506, which is attached hereto and made a part hereof, and which is hereby adopted as a part of an amendment to the zoning maps constituting a part of said chapter and as an amendment to Section 80-11 thereof.

 

Section B. That the Council finds and declares that before taking any action on the proposed amendment hereinabove, all public notices and hearings required by the Zoning Ordinance have been given and had.
