COMMITTEE SUBSTITUTE FOR ORDINANCE NO. 031086

 

Amending Ordinance No. 030654 by repealing Section 1 and enacting in its place a new section, correcting the legal description of the property to be leased.

 

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF KANSAS CITY:

 

Section 1. That Ordinance No. 030654 is hereby amended by repealing Section 1 and enacting in its place a new section, correcting the legal description of the property to be leased, to read as follows:

 

Section 1. That the Director of the Department of City Development is hereby authorized to execute, on behalf of the City, Consents to Assignment and Assumption Agreements applicable to City-owned premises, currently leased to the Midwest Terminal Warehouse Company for a public marine facility. The premises leased are as Tract A shown on the attachment to this ordinance and Tract B, legally described as:

 

Tract B: The west 14 feet of Lot 21, and all of Lots 22 thru 30, Block 11, Woodswether Industrial District; all of Lots 19 and 20; and all that part of Lots 21 and 39 lying westerly of the southerly prolongation of the easterly line of Lot 19, except the southwesterly 60 feet of said Lot 21 measured at right angles from the southwesterly line of said Lot 21, Block 10 Woodswether Industrial District, a subdivision in Kansas City, Jackson County, Missouri, according to the recorded plat thereof; and Lots 40, 41, 42, and 43, except the southerly 60 feet of said Lots 42 and 43, measured at right angles from the southwesterly lines of said lots, all in Block 10 Woodswether Industrial District, a subdivision in Kansas City, Wyandotte County, Kansas, according to the recorded plat thereof.

 

Copies of the Consents to Assignment and Assumption Agreements are attached hereto and made a part hereof by reference.
